​WORK SHOP IN PHOTOGRAPHY AND STUDIOS LIGHTING.

This is a Two hour seminar covering a range of topics, giving you a greater understanding of DSLR photography, to enable you to get the best out of your camera and improve your photography skills. This will be presented by a highly experienced and knowledgeable Photographer who will be more than happy to assist and answer questions after the seminar.

Topics that will be covered include:

How shutter speeds and aperture control effects the final result.

An introduction to ‘white balance’

Basic light metering / flash

Depth of field

Best use of camera controls/settings

An introduction to lenses/accessories

Attendees to bring their own DSLR with them or camera hire is available at our store.

Practical Lighting skills and styles for creating Commercial and Editorial images. 

you will be then given the opportunity to shoot, and also be given a critique on your results!

I will be demonstrating several lighting techniques using the latest  lighting equipment and  camera with Phase one digital system

PHOTOGRAPHIC ASSISTANT TRAINING COURSE

Photographic assistant training course is one day intensive equipment and lighting workshop aimed to those intending to enter the photography industry as Assistants.
This course covers :
. Overview of camera equipment and digital workflow
. Flash lighting equipment ( Profoto, Broncolor, Elinchrom)
. Continuos lighting equipment ( Kinoflo, HMI and Tungsten )
.  Distribution Power and Cabling
. Stands and grip

A combination of hands-on practical and classroom work will be use through the day using different types of lights and set ups along with teaching the importance of colour temperature and  flash duration.
The course starts at 10 am and runs until 5pm hosted within our professional photographic studios
